Campus94 meets Uche.

Hi there!

Uche Uba is a 400 level student of theatre arts. He is one of the socialites on Ekenwan campus as a whole.

The mention of his name requires no further introduction. Campus 94 sat down with this delectable young individual and below are the excerpts of the interview:

Campus94:
Good Afternoon Uche. Let's meet you.

Uche:
I am from a family of 6 and I'm the last born. I attended quite a number of schools while growing up, I attended Alvan primary school and A.D.F.I.B.S.S, Imo State,Fasta International School and Amec College, Lagos State, Command Iyanapaja, Shell Nursery School, Warri.

Campus94:
How has your experience in UNIBEN been so far?
Uche: It has been a good experience with wonderful association except the learning part. I would say I learnt more on "surviving life".

Campus94:
What do you do?

Uche:
I'm a model, singer, actor and a designer. I started modelling in August last year. I did the Elite Model Look but I didn't make it to the semi-finals. I started singing in my first year. I'm an actor by basis of my course of study. On designing, as I grow older, my designs grow with me. I can't really call my self a full grown designer yet.

Campus94:
What's your favourite spot in Ekenwan campus?

Uche:
That would be my room.

Campus94:
What's your favourite spot outside the campus?

Uche:
Kada Plaza.

Campus94:
Do you have a girlfriend?

Uche:
I don't. I'm not interested in relationships for now.

Campus94:
Who is/are your favourite artiste(s) on campus?

Uche:
My favourite campus artistes are Waye, Nex'page, Esbee.

What is your favourite campus song?

Uche:
My favourite campus song would be Esbee's 'Found You'.

What are the top 5 songs on your playlist?

Uche:

What's the craziest thing you've ever done?

Uche:
I went out with my cousins and we entered a cab of 3000 naira and we decided not to pay. As we were on our way, my cousin's friend faked a convulsion and we started accusing the man of putting something in his cab. Meanwhile we had the money but just didn't want to pay. The cab money didn't buy it one bit and insisted that we pay the fare. After so much ado, someone else finally paid for us.

Campus94:
What's your advice for people who look up to you and want to be like you?

Uche:
Firstly, I would say don't try to be like me because there are a lot of things bigger than I am. Be very sure of what you want to do. Also, be determined and don't let people tell you what you can and cannot do. Lastly, be yourself. The world needs original.
