The latest goal in the Nigerian's collection of goals for Watford meant he had scored in five consecutive games in the English premier league playing for Watford FC. By scoring this goal, he shattered an earlier standing record set by Troy Deeny. Scoring his fifth in succession made him the first ever Hornets’ player to score in five consecutive EPL games.
Ighalo was not closed down as he dribbled into the box and his left-footed strike deflected off Cahill, wrong-footing Courtois and sneaking inside the near post.

The 26-year-old now boasts of 13
goals in 18 appearances for his side this season and has also added in as a plus
two assists.
He boasts of an impressive record of
115.5 minutes per goal in the English top-flight this term.
Watford is seventh on the log with
29 points from 18 games and will host Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.
