The 2016 BET Awards which was long awaited was held on SUN, 26 JUNE 2016 at the microsoft theatre In LA and your favorite singers, actors and actresses were recognized for their achievements in the entertainment industry.
Samuel L. Jackson for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
"It's an honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 BET Awards later this month," the actor said in a statement. "I'm humbled to be recognized by my peers and to join the company of the exemplary recipients before me."
In addition, Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams was recognized for using his celebrity platform to shine a light on important causes.
