Chris Brown, 28, can’t seem to catch a break. Now, the “Royalty” singer is being accused of stealing a hat from a fan during his concert in Dallas, last year! It’s been a long time, but the fan isn’t over it quite yet, and has filed an official lawsuit, asking for over $2,000 for his troubles!
The lawsuit was filed by Marq Stevenson, who claimed he passed his cap to one of Chris’s friends on stage for the singer to autograph, according to TMZ. But instead of getting the hat back with a freshly inked signature, he claims he never saw the hat again. Instead of the hat, Marq says that he was bullied by some people from Chris’ posse.
And in compensation for his pain and suffering, Marq is asking for $25 for the hat. He also wants $225 for the money he spent on his floor, seat ticket, plus $2,500 for the bullying he endured from Chris’s friends. Yep, you heard right! That’s a whopping total of $2,750. That seems like a pretty hefty price tag for just one hat, right?
This is coming at the worst time for the R&B singer. Chris is currently in court for a lot of different things. His California neighbors are looking to file a suit against the singer after he was illegally driving around the suburban area on an ATV. And to make matters worse, he’s reportedly being dragged back to court by his daughter’s mom, Nia Guzman. Nia is demanding $15,000 a month instead of the $2,500 she already gets.
The fan is just seeking for attention!!! Just saying ...
