A United States District Judge, Kiyo A. Matsumo yesterday issued a temporary injunction, on behalf of Eric Many Ltd. against Runtown and his manager, Bugu Aneto Okeke, barring all U.S. performances and appearances by the Nigerian pop star.
The injunction was secured by Lydia Obasi Hills a New York-based litigator and entertainment lawyer.

Before this, the record label led by Okwudili Umenyiora already obtained a Federal High Court Injunction in Lagos, Nigeria preventing Runtown from performing at any event or any form of recording for the time being unless with the approval of his label.
THENETNG can confirm that Runtown and his lawyer have now landed in the United States and will both appear in court on June 14, 2016 at 11 am when the hearing comes up again.
