How to make a first date less awkward.

First dates are very nerve wracking, especially when you
don’t really know the person and hence you have no idea
what to expect. You will probably anticipate the
uncomfortable moments and silences, and they most likely
will happen. But not to worry, we will give you tips on how
to make your first date less awkward.
Keep the conversation light
Avoid talking about controversial issues, you don’t want to
get into an argument on your first date with possibly your
future bae, and you don’t want that to be one of your first
memories together. Avoid extreme personal details and
even medical history, save those for later.
Plan ahead
Work out date logistics before time. If you want you and
your date to go dutch, tell them before tima so you don’t
spring a surprise on them and catch them unprepared. Pay
close attention to your appearance and basic hygiene. You
MUST smell good on your first date.
Make jokes
You don’t have to be a comedian, but dig out your sense of
humor because it will come in handy during uncomfortable
silences. Observe your surroundings and make your date
laugh to get rid awkward moments.
Ask questions
Questions are a great conversation filler. If you both have
nothing to say, take turns in asking each other questions;
ask about family, education, and interests, this will keep the
conversation moving smoothly. Make sure that the
questions don’t sound like an interview, they should flow
easily in the conversation. Avoid asking questions about
previous relationships and heartbreaks.

Do this and you are sure make the date a memorable one.
