Governor Shettima approved the sum after he held a security meeting with heads of security in the state.

The terrorists have been able to gain easy access into the school's premises mostly due to its unsecured rear where they have been able to cross into on foot on by simply driving inside.

The governor said the N50 million will be instrumental to digging trenches covering 27 kilometers behind the campus that will make this easy passage into the campus an impossible task.

Some of the money will also be used to recruit more security personnel to cover those areas where the terrorists have mostly targeted to gain access into the institution.
