Wana Udobang's "Warriors" is a web series aimed at drawing attention to the every day journey and struggles of Sickle Cell patients.
In commemoration of World Sickle Cell day (WSSD), Wana Udobang released the first episode of her web series, "Wana Udobang's Warriors."
The series is aimed at creating awareness as well as drawing attention to the every day journey and struggles faced by those living with Sickle Cell.
In the first episode, Tosin Oshinowo shares the daily struggles and triumphs of living with sickle cell for 37 years.
In the second episode, Temitope Gomez shares the daily realities of living with Sickle Cell and how it can complicate personal relationships such as marriage.
She also shares the need for society to view and treat those who live with sickle cell with dignity.
"Warriors" is a four-part docu-series featuring four Warriors who share what it means to live with Sickle Cell in today’s Nigeria.
