World No. 34 Karen Khachanov fought his way through two tough matches in Wimbledon’s early rounds (a total of nine sets, three of which were tiebreaks) only to earn himself a third-round date with Rafael Nadal.
Dealing with Nadal’s heavy topspin, impeccable movement, and deft drop shots, even on grass, is always a fearsome task, made even more difficult when you’ve got an unfortunate hole in your racket:
Nadal went on to win 6-1, 6-4, 7-6 (3).
