Report: Two NFL Linemen Sued Over Unpaid $10,000 Nightclub Bill

Two NFL players are involved in a lawsuit stemming from a March incident involving declined credit cards and a $10,000 bill racked up in a single evening at a Hollywood nightclub, according to a TMZ report.
The players—A’Shawn Robinson of the Detroit Lions and Caleb Benenoch of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—reportedly joined a man named Richard Harrington at Hyde Sunset in West Hollywood, and managed to put together a $9,332 bill. I’m looking at Hyde’s menu and I feel like this is doable! There are $1,100 bottles of Armand de Brignac Rosé champagne, but the real star of the show is a $9,100 bottle of Chateau Petrus—one bottle of that plus a few amuse-bouche gets you all the way there before we even start talking about a tip. Maybe they’re red wine* aficionados!

At any rate, the bill came due, as happens, and that’s apparently when shit went sideways:
But when it came time to pay, Harrington claims the players’ credit cards were BOTH declined.
Instead, they asked Harrington to foot the bill — which he did — and they promised to pay him back. Harrington claims they each sent him $2,000 but that didn’t cover everything.
He’s still out $5,332 ... and is now suing them to get the money because he says they refuse to pay it back.
Maybe Harrington drank half that Petrus! Since you’re certainly wondering: Robinson is on a four-year, $5.2 million contract; and Benenoch is on a four-year, $2.8 million contract.
