The Elite Model Look Nigeria 2017 opened with a worldwide casting today 26th August at the Eko Hotel & Suites with thousands of models in attendance.
The packed event saw girls and boys in form fitting clothes sans makeup everywhere around the casting venue.
CEO of Beth Models and franchisee of Elite Model Look in Nigeria Elohor Aisien was joined by Maybelline creative director Bimpe Onakoya, Creative director Iamisigo Bubu Ogisi, Ozinna Anumudu and Tolu Peters as judges.

Models were lined up in batches where they filed one after the other in fitted clothes and heels for the first stage of the casting for the judges.
The selected ones are immediately given branded T-shirts to move on to the next stage with the unsuccessful told to try again.
The ones selected are handed forms to fill to move to the second stage where they are paired in fives to walk for the judges who screened again to select those going into the top 100.
There's no denying Elite Models look out for tall models, they didn't compromise on the 5.9' with the taller and those with great posture easily standing out with a greater chance of being handpicked...
One thing stands out an Elite model from the pack, they are confident in their own ways, and are definitely diamonds in the rough.

Something impressive however is the uncanny attention to faces- some models tried to audition twice, a second time if rejected the first and they were met with a second rejection because the judges were brilliant enough to imprint their faces in their heads, they know exactly what they are looking for.
This model from Delta state Ono cried she wasn't picked but quickly consoled herself to try next year and oh "I'm a commercial model so I'm not bad afterall".
In the words of a past Elite Model Look Nigeria 2017 and international model Victor Ndigwe; "This platform is one that gives international exposure and easily the best model competition around here".
The casting is an impressive way to kick off the 10th edition of the most revered model search competition.
