We love new mobile phone launches. The brighter screens, the faster processors, the fewer headphone ports(!), it's always exciting to see what the likes of Samsung, Apple and Sony will come up with next to goad tech fans in to buying their latest and greatest flagship smartphone.
But they also mean that our favourite phones from yesteryear invariably see a drop in price. And that's exactly what has happened in the days leading up to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 this Wednesday. What will the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 cost?
We won't know the exact Galaxy Note 8 price until the long awaited launch on Wednesday August 24. But it doesn't take Mystic Meg (get us with our contemporary pop culture references) to predict that it's going to be extremely expensive.
We reckon that it will cost between £100 and £200 more than the S8 Plus cost on release, which was £749. And we'd be surprised if any retailer was able to offer monthly contract prices of less than £40 per month and a couple of hundred quid at the outset. We're just praying that the August release means that there will be some cheap deals to be had around Black Friday 2017.
