Here's what you need to know.
A horrific new study revealed that some populations of bed bugs have developed literal thicker skins and now can fight off many insecticides.
They're not invincible, but pros might have to resort to other techniques to nix your unwanted roomies, such as extreme heat (up to 140°F), extreme cold (reaching -20°F), steam machines, or commercial-grade vacuuming.
If you see a bug or think you have them—you wake up with bites or see pin-size brown stains on your sheets (bug poop)—call an exterminator ASAP. They'll determine the best way to de-bug your home.
