This is one of the cheapest plans that will give you unlimited international calls and texts, and with its extra 4GB of data with an online sign-up, you'll get a massive 12GB total a month. You'll also be able to stream Apple Music without it counting towards your data cap. Total cost over 24 months is $2,520
Best budget option — Galaxy S8 | 1GB data | $550 talk and unlimited texts | $90pm
The cost of entry for the latest Samsung flagship with Telstra is $90 a month. Included you'll get $550 of calls, unlimited text, 1GB of data, and streaming on Apple Music that won't count toward your cap, so this is ideal if you're after the coverage that Telstra offers but don't use your device heavily. This is some decent data (3GB) you'll get for a budget plan, but it's price and lack of included extras makes the competition look a little more inviting.
