The Oyedepos: 35 years later, this couple is still giving us divine relationship goals

Papa and Mama Oyedepo have just celebrated 35 years of marital bliss.

On August 21, 2017, Bishop David Oyedepo and his wife, Faith, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.

The power couple of the Living Faith church, also known as Winners Chapel, marked this achievement by sharing sweet messages to each other via social media.

 

Bishop David, who is fondly called Papa by his church members, called his wife “heaven sent” in his tweet.

It read, ”Happy 35th Wedding Anniversary to my Heaven-sent Wife, Faith Abiola Oyedepo. It gets sweeter by the day!”

 

The message from his wife, Faith, was just as endearing as she added cute throwback pictures of their past.

Her tweet read, “My Husband, Many years of love and laughter & it still only gets better each day. Happy 35th Wedding Anniversary.”

The pair met when Bishop Oyedepo was 22 years old. They met at a motor park while she was a student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and he was a student of a Polytechnic in Kwara state.

 

Eventually, they got married in 1982 and have been using their unique calling in the House of God.

 

Bishop Oyedepo heads the church while Mrs Faith focuses on the family aspect. Her sermons, books and blog are all dedicated to families and homes.

Through their different ministries, they both help to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

 

35 years later, with four wonderful grown up children, and grandchildren, the couple is not showing any signs of slowing down.

 

Kudos to the couple for continuing to give us relationship goals.
