President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his recovery, the Presidency announced on Saturday, September 2.
In series of tweets via @NGRPresident, the State House said Erdogan called Buhari on the telephone.
The two leaders were said to have discussed the forthcoming 9th Summit of D8, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation, which is scheduled to hold in Istanbul, Turkey's capital, in October 2017.
Erdogan invited Buhari to participate in the summit.
