For the past few months, the GOP has been trying to repeal Obamacare with shitty — er, "skinny" — replacement bills that would take away healthcare for millions of Americans.
And they would've gotten away with it, too… if it wasn't for that pesky John McCain!
On Friday, the Republican Senator announced in a statement that he cannot "in good conscience" vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal knowing how it will affect those with pre-existing conditions and insurance premiums overall.
McCain said Republicans and Democrats "have not yet really tried" to work together and come up with a bipartisan approach, which he feels is necessary to do when drafting a bill that affects so many lives.

The veteran's opposition makes it very unlikely that the bill will garner the 50 votes needed to reach Donald Trump's desk before September 30, since Senators Rand Paul and Susan Collins are also expected to vote "no" on the proposal.
GOP leaders are reported to be at the "evaluating options" stage right now, but critics of the bill are already thanking McCain for standing his moral ground — especially Jimmy Kimmel, who made his opposition no secret to late night audiences.
