The best iPhone 8 Plus deals available to pre-order today

iPhone 8 Plus deals are now available to pre-order for when the phone hits the streets on September 22.

The pre-orders for the iPhone 8 deals are also live if you'd prefer the smaller smartphone, along with the smaller prices. If you're waiting for the iPhone X deals though, you'll have to wait as its not going on sale until October 27.

We feel a bit sorry for the iPhone 8 Plus. Usually Apple's big screen iterative update would be set to be the new daddy of the iPhone family. But this year sees the iPhone X take that mantle and steal its thunder.

But the successor to the iPhone 7 Plus will still have a very valuable function to fulfill in the iPhone menagerie. If you want a 2017 large screened Apple smartphone, but the price of the iPhone X make you feel dizzy, then the iPhone 8 Plus is the one for you.

So let's take a look at your options for the iPhone 8 Plus pre-order deals. As with any iPhone launch, especially the Plus models you might want to brace yourselves for some steep prices. We'll be adding fresh deals to the comparison chart below until we have the best of the best from all the networks and reliable mobile phone retailers.

The best iPhone 8 Plus deals you can pre-order today:

samsung galaxy s7 deals

iPhone 8 Plus | £270 upfront | 3GB data | Unlimited minutes and texts | £32 per month
While you may think we're mad recommending a deal with an upfront cost of £270, the £32 monthly fee is the best iPhone 8 Plus deal we've seen for this much data and more than enough for most users. O2 isn't usually amongst the cheapest networks either, but this deal is certainly worth considering. You can then sign up to O2 Priority too for lots of freebies each month. Total cost over 24 months is £1038.

iPhone 8 Plus | £200 upfront | 4GB data | Unlimited minutes and texts | £38 per month
This is Vodafone's cheapest deals so far and actually one of the few contracts we've seen for less than £40 a month. The £200 upfront is a bitter pill to swallow, but you are getting a very handy 4GB of data each month. That's more than enough if you're never far from a Wi-Fi connection. Total cost over 24 months is £1112.

iPhone 8 Plus | £240 upfront | 10GB data | Unlimited minutes and texts | £42.99 per month
You can get a lot more data a month with the Vodafone deal below, but EE do have the fastest 4G network in the UK, which is a big selling point for data users. This deal also comes with three months of free BT Sport and six month of Apple Music. Total cost over 24 months is £1271.76.

iPhone 8 Plus | £170 upfront | 26GB data | Unlimited minutes and texts | £44 per month
This Vodafone deal for a huge 26GB of data is actually cheaper than the best 10GB deal at the time of writing. Just, madness. You only need to look at the other prices in our comparison chart to see that this is one of the best value deals for big data users. We've seen upfront costs much higher than this too. Total cost over 24 months is £1226.

iPhone 8 Plus price: how much does it cost?

A mighty £799. That's how much the 64GB iPhone 8 Plus will cost you in the UK on launch - that's almost one hundred pounds more than the 7 Plus cost last year.

Need more memory - then your only other option is spending an extra £150 and grabbing a £949 256GB iPhone 8 Plus. Thank heavens then that Black Friday is just a few months away.

If you opt to buy the iPhone 8 Plus upfront without a contract you will save money in the long run, but of course £799 is a lot of money to pay upfront. If you can afford it though it the way to go once you pair it with a cheap SIM only deal. We'll have the latest retailer links below for you soon.

When can I buy a SIM-free iPhone 8 Plus?

A few retailers have just started taking orders for the iPhone 8 Plus on its own, or SIM-free if you will. While massively expensive, this is the cheaper option in the long run. Take a look at the latest deals below.

iPhone 8 Plus deals at Currys

This is the phone you want if you can't quite afford the iPhone X or don't want to wait until November. It's got the larger battery, same powerful innards and strong camera. If you don't mind the poorer screen, it's a good option.
