Alex & Sierra have sung their swan song...
On Friday, the 2013 X Factor winners announced on Twitter they broke up, both as a romantic couple (over a year ago) and as a musical duo!

According to their somber statement, they've "arrived at a point where it feels better to branch out rather than continue making music together." They wrote:

The band -- who was mentored by Simon Cowell on the hit competition show -- released their last EP As Seen on TV in 2016.
Even with the split, Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton still "have a lot of love for each other."
"No band lasts forever, whether they dated or not... We have a lot of love for each other and ALWAYS will, and we are the real people behind the screen you're looking at, so keep that in mind before you say anything and please respect our privacy."
All good things must come to an end.
