Despite the Huawei Mate 10 likely launching on October 16 we still haven’t heard that many rumors about it, but a promotional poster that was seemingly spotted in China has filled in some of the gaps.
Spotted by @Daimoi on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site) the poster claims that the Huawei Mate 10 will have a 4,000mAh battery, which is the same size as the Huawei Mate 9.
It’s also said to have a 6.2-inch 2,160 x 1,080 display. That’s a resolution that we’ve heard before but previous rumors put the screen at 5.9 or 6 inches.
Bigger, better, smarter
Other specs revealed by the poster include a dual-lens camera on the back, with a 23MP sensor and a 20MP one. That would be a boost - at least in megapixel count – from the 20MP and 12MP pairing on the Huawei Mate 9.
Finally, it mentions Huawei’s new Kirin 970 chipset, which has already been confirmed for the phone, and as with other promotional materials it hints at the Mate 10’s AI skills, saying “smarter is better”, though doesn’t explain what that actually means.
As always, we’d take this with a pinch of salt, especially as the screen size is at odds with previous rumors, but it’s very possible that these are the Huawei Mate 10’s specs.
