Omokri mocked Kachikwu's letter to President Buhari where he alleged that the Dr Baru was humiliating and underestimating his powers in the oil corporation.
Bemigho Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has taken a swipe at the Minister of state for Petroleum and Chairman, NNPC board, Dr Ibe Kachikwu.
In a series of tweet on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Omokri mocked the minister's letter to President Muhammadu Buhari where the minister alleged that the NNPC GMD, Maikanti Baru was humiliating and underestimating his powers in the oil corporation.
"The naivety of Kachikwu in writing that letter to Buhari beats me! He doesn't know that Baru was brought in to do exactly what he is doing!
"After Sylva's 48 mansions were returned to him I knew the anti corruption pretense was dead. Baru's $26 billion merely confirms what I knew.
"New definition of fool: someone who expects a govt that returned Sylva's 48 mansions to him to investigate Baru for the $26 billion oil mess," he tweeted.

The Nigerian author, lawyer went further to throw shades at President Buhari alleging that he has always been found wanting every time he dabbles into the Nigerian oil sector.
He tweeted: "The 1st time PMB was Oil Minister, Fela sang '2.8 billion Naira missing'.Now he's Oil Minister again and Kachikwu sings $26 billion missing!
"2.8 billion in 1978. $26 billion today. Why do billions tend to go missing or spent without due process whenever PMB is Petroleum Minister?"
It had been reported that Kachikwu wrote a letter to Buhari complaining of disregard for official processes by Dr Maikanti Baru, Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)
