Caroline Danjuma is unarguable one of the prettiest actress' to have ever graced the Nollywood scene.

In the mid 00s, Caroline Danjuma was a household name as she starred in several notable Nollywood home videos. She even played the love interest in 2face Idibia's movie debut.

At the height of her fame, she got married to Nigerian billionaire Musa Danjuma. You know what? Let's not reveal everything.

Here are 5 things you should know about the actress who is caught up in the Davido/Tagbo controversy.

1. Early life

 

Caroline Danjuma was born on 26 June 1980 to a Scottish father and a Nigerian mother. She is the first of 3 children. She was however formerly known as Caroline Ekanem before she got married.

2. Education

 

Caroline Danjuma studied Environmental Protection Management, Geography, and Regional Planning at the University of Calabar, Calabar.

3. Acting career

 

Caroline Danjuma debuted into the Nollywood industry in 2004. She was introduced to the ace movie director, Chico Ejiro by veteran actress, Rita Dominic who then cast her in the 2004 movie "Deadly Care." That became the beginning of a blossoming career as she later starred in Missing Angel (2004), The Captor (2006), Foreign Affairs, Real Love, The Twist, A Second Time and The Beast and The Angel.

After a break from the movie scene, due to marriage, she came back in to star in "Stalker" which had Jim Iyke and Nse Ikpe Etim as co-stars.

4. Relationships/Marriage

 

The beautiful actress was involved in a brief romantic relationship with music icon, 2face Idibia at the early stage of her movie career. However, in 2007,  she got married to a billionaire, Musa Danjuma.

The marriage to the Musa Danjuma however, caused Caroline Danjuma to take an unexpected break from her already rising acting career. The union produced three children.

5. Divorce scandal

 

When Caroline Danjuma got married to Musa Danjuma, it looked like a sure thing.  Rumors of infidelity both quarters began to trickle in. Pictures of her husband with an unidentified woman having dinner also gave away the couple's marital problems.

The couple by 2016, could not solve their differences as it was reported that they went their separate ways, ending a messy divorce scandal.
