Pulse List: 3 prophecies that didn't happen in 2017

Pulse List: 3 prophecies that didn't happen in 2017

Contrary to what some Men of God said, Buhari did not die, Funke Akindele got pregnant and the world certainly did not end.

We get prophecies every single year.

Sometimes they come to pass, unfortunately for these Men of God sometimes their words also refuse to come to true.

Here is a list of three major prophecies that simply did not happen.

1. Buhari’s resignation and death

Towards the end of 2016 and earlier this year, many ministers predicted that President Muhammadu Buhari would die.

Others prophesied that he would be unable to complete his first term as the leader of this country.

Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, the General Overseer of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos, was one of the people that made this particular prophecy.

During an interview with Tribune on March 19, 2017, he said, “In the same vein, President Muhammadu Buhari still needs prayers because he may likely resign midway as a result of his health condition unless prayers are intensified. Buhari will face political challenges…”

It’s the end of the year and Buhari is still the president. In fact, he is going to run again in 2019. They clearly did not get this prophecy right.

2. Funke Akindele’s barrenness

In January, Prophet Olagorioye Faleyimu of the Mountain of Blessing and Miracle Church of Christ repeated a prophecy concerning actress, Funke Akindele’s barrenness.

Speaking with Encomium News, Faleyimu also said that the only way the actress would be saved is if she marries a prayerful partner, adding this prophecy comes directly from God.

In his words, “Yes, it’s God that revealed to me that she’s destined to be famous and wealthy but no child, but if she’s very prayerful, she will eventually break the yoke of barrenness and become a mother. That same message has also been repeated.

“…God has also repeated it this year, that for her to have a child, she needs to be closer to God.”

Later this year, the actress debuted her pregnancy. In August, her cute baby bump was very obvious at a show sponsored by Glo. This was just the first of the many times her bump was spotted.

3. End of the world

In October, Christian researcher came out with his end time prophecy. According to him, the world would end on the 15th of that month.

This prediction was reportedly backed by his findings from the Bible.
