Relationahip Talk: How do I stop picking a fight with my boyfriend everytime?

Angry and confused.

It’s so bad that my guy told me that he is no longer interested in being with me.

Dear Bukky,

I will like to be advise, I do get angry easily at every slightest thing, and it causes damages in my relationship.

It’s so bad to the extent that my guy told me that he is no longer interested and I had to plead with him.

He forgave me hoping for a change but it just gets worse by the day. I don't know what is happening to me. I pick a quarrel every blessed day.

I love my guy and I don't want to lose him. I wish I can do something about it, and we are both living together. Please do help.

Dear reader,

I think you know what is happening to you and I want you to stop wishing when it is obvious that you should do something about it.

Learn to not react to everything. That’s a good place to start from. You need to start refraining yourself and learn to do a lot of overlooking.

Instead of flaring up every time he annoys you, you could just intentionally hold in your angry words and look for something positive to engross yourself with.

Put a leash on your negative emotions and a lid on your tongue.

Another thing to do is to talk about issues that annoy you instead of ranting and act

If you love your boyfriend, then you can’t be picking a quarrel, complaining or nagging him every day; but you can have positive, helpful communicate with him for as long as possible.

The change you need starts and ends with you, really, and you need to begin right away.

You either begin now or watch anger end your valued relationship.
