Patel, who wrote Migritude was upset by Adichie's response to the question
Novelist Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie grabbed global headlines yet again after a sharp retort to a French journalist during an interview in which she was asked if her home country of Nigeria had libraries.
Her response was the hottest trend on social media but also topical was her response to a question on post colonial theory and its relevance .Her claim that post colonialism/ post colonial theory' was a field made up by professors who wanted to create jobs for themselves did not go down well with several academics including Kenyan author and academic Shailjia Patel.
Patel took to her Twitter handle to deliver a thread that should grab the attention of the novelist.
