The Samsung Galaxy S9 leaks are flying thick and fast as we speed towards the handset's unveiling at MWC 2018 later this month, and now we can add one more to the pile from trusted leaker Evan Blass.
Last year, we reported that the Galaxy S9 may launch alongside a DeX Pad rather than a docking station, and thanks to some new and very convincing images leaked by Blass on Twitter, we can now see what the DeX Pad will supposedly look like.
As can be seen, Samsung seems to have adopted a flat design for the new DeX Pad, lending credence to the rumors that it will let your Galaxy smartphone double as a touchpad when in use.
In terms of connectivity, the leaked images show a HDMI-out port (for outputting to a nearby monitor), two USB Type A ports (twice as many as the original Dex Station) and a very handy USB Type C port.
Perhaps the most exciting part of this new leak however, is what appears to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 handset in all its glory, as evidenced by the giant '9' on the handset's display.
Though the new DeX Pad is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, its functionality will likely extend to all DeX-compatible devices. We'll know more about the DeX Pad in the coming weeks.
