Badoo kickstarted 2018 with his new record titled 'Science Student', which took over the airwaves in no time.
The song has been the subject of discussion among a cross section of Nigerians, with some saying that it promotes drug abuse.
Olamide however clarified his position on the debate, by expressly denouncing the use of drugs.

The rapper also called on his supporters to reflect on the harmful effects of drug abuse and urged them to live and drink responsibly.
NBC hits Olamide hard
The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) recently declared Olamide's hit song, "Science Student," unfit for broadcast.
It issued a Not-To-Be-Broadcast (NTTB) warning on the single.
According to the Head of Public Affairs for NBC, Hajia Maimuna Jihada, the song has not been out-rightly banned but is prohibited from being played on local stations for public consumption.
