Mr Voiceover made this known while addressing journalists, in Benin City during The Mr Voiceover Mentorship Initiative Outreach focused on alleviating poverty in the society and equipping the youths with empowerment skills.
According to him, Nigeria needs active political youth participation in order to introduce creative ideas to the political landscape against the present status quo, reiterating the dangers in electoral violence and urging youths to eschew any form of electoral violence.
He noted that electoral violence can impede the developmental wheel of the country and such act should be refrained from and therefore recommends that the 'Not Too Young To Rule' bill would serve as a launch pad for youths to play active roles in politics as well as providing a building block for acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills for future political leadership.
Emmanuel disclosed that the problem of Nigeria is caused by recycling politicians who like parading the Nigeria political landscape for their selfish benefits at the expense of the masses, stressing that the active involvement of youths is a panacea to solving the problem.
He further stressed on the readiness to participate in the third force coalition which was proposed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to assume political power from the two major political parties in the country, but however acknowledged the courage summoned by young activists like Fela Durotoye, Daniel Akinlami, Nwosu Enyinnaya, Eragbe Anslem, Mattias Tsedo, Adamu Garball, Eniola Ojajumi and Ahmed Buhari, for showing interest in contesting for the 2019 presidential elections, stating that it is the right move, in the right direction.
