Tiwa Savage: Pop queen has been on a collaboration marathon which you haven’t noticed

From providing a hook for rap record, throwing legs for the ‘Shaku shaku’, Tiwa’s kept things moving along nicely, and growing her influence.

You know why she is queen? That’s because Tiwa Savage works hard, perhaps outworking everyone else in the business.

Since the release of ‘Ma lo’, which featured Wizkid, Tiwa Savage has been on a run of collaborations, spreading her art by combination and fusion with a select number of artists. Interestingly, much of the music has been spread across genres. From providing a hook for rap record, throwing legs for the ‘Shaku shaku’, she’s kept things moving along nicely, and growing her influence.

Off her recently released Extended Play – “Aphrodija”, Mavin Records songstress – Di’Ja begins the year with the visuals to “The Way You Are” featuring the in form – Tiwa Savage.

DJ Enimoney – ‘Diet’ ft Slimcase, Reminisce, Tiwa Savage

 

DJ Enimoney returns with a brand new hot joint and he calls this one “Diet”. This taps into the 'Shaku shaku' trend, and offers Tiwa Savage as part of a elite group of artists who pull this off. Interestingly, it is produced by Sarz.

Ladipoe – ‘Are you down’ ft Tiwa Savage

 

Ladipoe proves the party is anywhere he goes with new visuals for his second release under Mavin Records. Familiar faces in the video include singer Funbi, rapper Chyn and Tec of Show Dem Camp as cameos. Leading Lady Tiwa Savage, who kills the sultry hook, and producer Don Jazzy also make casual appearances.

B-Red – ‘Connect’ ft Tiwa Savage

 

HKN Music act – B-Red had a great year in 2017, churning out great singles and dope videos to match which saw his stock rise musically. The singer is showing no signs of slowing down as he opens up his account in 2018 with a collaboration titled 'Connect' with the lady on top form – Tiwa Savage.

Sauti Sol – ‘Girl Next Door’ ft Tiwa Savage

 

Kenyan group Sauti Sol has released their collaboration single with Tiwa Savage titled ‘Only girl’.The video which was directed by Unlimited L.A, was shot on location in Lagos, and becomes the second single off their forthcoming album “Afrikan Sauce’.

Reekado Banks – ‘Like’ ft Tiwa Savage

Mavin Records superstar – Reekado Banks picks up where he left off in 2017. He begins 2018 on a high note by serving up the visuals to his previously released single – 'Like' featuring raving Mavin Records first lady – Tiwa Savage and Guitarist – Fiokee.
