Man devorces wife over claims that she's Lazy

The further adjudication of a petition filed by 57-year-old Joe Ubigho, for the dissolution of his 19-year-old marriage, to his 45-year-old wife, Rita Ubigho over allegations of laziness will proceed today, at a customary court in the Igando area of Lagos State.

Alleging a lackluster approach to the carrying out of House-hold chores and the care of their children, the petitioner said:



"It was owing to such laziness that I was forced to take our children to a boarding school for proper care."



He then pleaded with the court to dissolve the union as he could no longer endure.
                                     

Counter Petitioning was Rita who alleged that her husband drove her out of their matrimonial home with threats of physical injury by acid, if she refused to leave.

The wife further implored the court not to dissolve the marriage as she was still committed to making things work with her husband.
