INSTAGRAM ADMITS TO STEALING SNAP CHAT'S FEATURES.. WAR OR NO WAR???

On the latest trending news all around the world, is instagram and snap chat going head to head.

The two social media platform has over the years recorded their various success, massively. These two have captured the minds of  youngsters over time and have slowly crept their way into the old alike.

Instagram with over 500million users was yesterday, reported to have copied snapchat  story telling display platform. The 24hour disappearing of pictures and videos..

Instagram, when it first begun as a photo sharing app was widely seen as an avenue to save photos, basically. Till, it got sold to Facebook for $1 billion. Snapchat, with over 150million users, in 2011 came with the 24 hour disappearing display and this was so suddenly embraced by all. People are now  more comfortable sharing pictures and videos, with all assurance that they can only but last for 24 hours, no matter the content. Not to forget the message bar that could be added to pictures or videos, which all added up to give a perfect story.

This message bar and 24hour disappearance was all of a sudden, yesterday announced by Instagram as their newly added feature. The co founder and chief executive officer, mr. Systrom who didn't at all deny getting the idea from snappy, however gave all credit to Snapchat. He does not pretend that Instagram Stories is original. Instead, he said the narrative string of photos and video that disappear after 24 hours is a format, akin to the cascading feed-based model popularized by companies like Facebook and Twitter and eventually adopted by countless others. Silicon Valley, he said, is all about creating and adopting new formats to be tried and expanded.

“This format unlocks a new version of creativity for us,” he said. “I think Instagram will be judged by where we go from here, and what we make of it in the future.”

Although snap chat may be really good at their thing, analysis has it that Instagram seem to have totally topped the snap chat game. No war, yet!
