Earlier this year Nigerian rapper, Ycee who got signed to Sony Music in October 2016, as part of the record label's expansion across Africa called out Sony Music West Africa in a series of tweets and also mentioned its general manger, Michael Ugwu over his music contract.
Yesterday morning, the rapper took to his Twitter page to caution upcoming artistes about dubious record labels.
He wrote; ‘MAJOR LABELS approaching you and claiming to help you grow? Be very very careful. They tried to ruin my career but we had a PLAN B. I’ll speak as much as I can to prevent others from being a VICTIM. Too many artistes stay silent and make others suffer the same cause’. posted by ConnectMe posted by
