Samsung’s latest Galaxy S9 leak comes in the form of Augmented Reality

With its Unpacked 2018 event less than a week away, Samsung is having a tough time keeping its upcoming flagship handsets, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, under wraps. Now, we can add yet another leak to the pile.
Though the latest leak doesn't show the phone in its physical form, it does give us a pretty good idea of what to expect thanks to some highly detailed 3D images of the device.

According to XDA Developers, the South Korean electronics giant will use its Unpacked 2018 app to show off its Galaxy S9 handset in Augmented Reality during the official reveal at MWC 2018
One anxious Redditor has already torn down the app prior to the event, revealing exactly how the AR functionality works. Attendees will be able to scan the barcode on their lanyard to the event, revealing a fully 3D model of the phone in all its digital glory.

As you can see from the images above (and the additional ones over at XDA Developers), the Unpacked 2018 app all but confirms the Galaxy S9's rumored Lilac Purple color, and will reportedly allow users to switch between color options on the fly, letting attendees also check out the handset in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Titanium Grey.
The images also show a single-lens camera on the device, as well as a repositioned fingerprint scanner, as per previous reports
We'll know more about the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus when both handsets are officially unveiled on February 25, 2018.
